Namiki Emperor Cranes Emperor Fountain Pen
Cranes are traditional symbols of longevity in the Far East. The slender figure of the cranes gave a peaceful but graceful posture in the art pieces; making it a very collectible pen. The Namiki Emperor Cranes Emperor Fountain Pen is made of quail egg shells called
rankaku, of which each egg shell is painstakingly inlaid on to the cranes body.
The beauty on the Namiki Emperor Cranes Emperor Fountain Pen emerged years later when the calcium content of the egg shell ages with grey traces, showing the aging of the beauty in time. Jim maki e graced the roiro background with traces of lustre in blue raden at the tip of the barrel.
A large jumbo 50 18kt solid gold nib showing the profile of
Mount Fuji is engraved on the nib.
