The pen nib can be stored smoothly just by turning the knob at the rear end a little.
This fountain pen comes with a retractable rhodium-plated 18k gold nib. A hidden trap door helps keep the nib from drying out when not in use. A Pilot CON-40 converter and a metal cartridge cap are included with this pen.
Pilot revolutionised the fountain pen with its release of the Capless fountain pen in 1963 been the world's first retractable fountain pen. It has an ubiquitous retractable mechanism that allows the nib to retract into barrel when not in use.
