Montegrappa Limited Edition Dante Alighieri Inferno Silver Rollerball Pen, our first homage to Dante is religiously crafted and honours the poet’s terza rima style with silver editions of 333  pieces.  Finished with ‘magma’ Montegrappite artisanal resin and a hand-enamelled crown, our design storyboards Dante’s tale of a pilgrim’s journey towards God.

Presented in a vintage replica of Italy’s most famous book, each lies secured beneath a transcription from the gates of hell: “Abandon all hope, ye who enter here.” Recognition and rejection of sin is the central premise of ‘Inferno’ – the opening volume of Dante’s epic Divine Comedy. Meticulous lost-wax casting illustrates the supreme poet’s journey through the afterlife – detailing the misdeeds and punishments within each of hell’s nine descending chasms. 700 years after Dante’s death, seldom has his vision of virtue been more faithfully realised.
