Visconti Van Gogh Oiran Fountain Pen is inspired by the intense emotions that the artist conveyed through this painting.  Vincent Van Gogh managed to push emotion to its extremes in every one of his brush stroke. Van Gogh connects his most inner ‘I’ to the outside world through his paintbrush.  His emotions are expressed through the strength of his colours, the impulsiveness of his lines and the choice of his subjects.  Nature becomes a mirror that reflects emotions rather than landscapes.  To honour him, we have reproduced the textures of oil painting on his canvases in pen form. Fine acrylic resin is skillfully processed to make each Van Gogh pen unique in its colors.  The 18-facet design emphasizes the colors used by the famous Dutch artist.  The pen’s metal details feature palladium finishes.  The pen’s shape has been designed to perfectly reproduce the color combinations and shades seen in the painting.  A special technique was used to create an 18-sided faceted body that echoes Van Gogh’s dynamic brushstrokes.   It is packaged in a unique gift box that is complemented with a bookmark and a special edition bottle of ink.
