Graf von Faber Castell  Limited Edition Snakewood Ball Pen was specially made to honour Singapore's 50th Anniversary of Nation Building. There is a special quad set called SG50 made exclusively for Singapore market only comprising of fountain pen, ball pen, rollerball pen and a 0.7 mm mechanical pencil in a matching number set and luxurious box. Only these 50 sets code name SG50 are numbered as shown.

The fountain pen, rollerball, ball pen and 0.7 mm mechanical pencil can be purchased singly and are packed in individual box. 1761 pieces of ball pens are produced and the pens are not numbered which defers from the SG50 set which have numbers engraved on the pens. However, a certificate will be provided for each single pens, sold independently, for authenticity.

The Graf von Faber Castell  Limited Edition Snakewood SG50 Ball Pen followed a successful edition of Snakewood Limited edition magnum sized pens made in 1996. A similar magnum sized snake wood fountain pen is 5 times its original price in today's market.
