Bugaku 舞樂
Pilot Bugaku 80th Anniversary Limited Edition is probably one of the most spectacular masterpiece ever produced by Pilot Japan. Single handedly made by Master craftsman, Kyusai Yoshida, the theme is about a specific kind of music which was accompanied by a dance that spread to Japan from China and Korea. Usually, these were the "To-gaku" or "Korei-gaku" as they were known and performed in courts or temples. A dynamic music and dance movement were depicted on the pen with a missionary paying tribute to the Emperor who was in a dragon mask. Hence, Bugaku means "Dance & Music". A vibrant illustration of the highly skilled master who demonstrated his skills with high relief taka maki-e and togidashi maki-e on the vest type pen.
