Namiki Seahorse Limited Edition was the last Yukari size limited edition fountain pen made by Namiki before it started to make them in Yukari Royal size for the limited edition. Hence, the Namiki Seahorse Limited Edition was the last edition to be made in limited edition and in yukari size (small size). Only 300 pieces of fountain pens were made. The seahorse motif was made in high relief taka maki-e while the seaweeds were made in bluish abalone shells Raden. Golden dust was sprinkled on the background of both the cap and barrel. The Namiki Seahorse Limited Edition, together with the Namiki Panda, White Tiger, Bald Eagle and King Cobra, made up the Endangered Species of Namiki Yukari size limited edition Collection.
