It is this strange combination of gold plated trimmings that makes this Gold Plated Mechanical Pencil so extraordinary.  This particular design did not sell very well when it was launched in the 1990s and as a result not many were produced then. But as nostagia returns, this gold plated version of ebony pencils is returning with great favour.
