The Fighting Cocks are made of taka makie (high relief lacquer) and for good reasons, after a long period of use, it gets into a very mellow but beautiful color. Gold dust are sprinkled along the pen which makes the pen looks great. Writing with the 18kt gold nib pen is certainly a great pleasure as it glides on paper.
