When Namiki Vanishing Point Fountain Pen first came into the hands of consumers in 1995-96, it was a refreshing design.  These early designs of Namiki Vanishing Point VP came from a much earlier and very successful design that dates back to 1965 when it was launched as Pilot Capless.  It was meant as a time saving "Push Button System" and you can operate a fountain pen single handedly.  The Pilot Vintage Capless Fountain Pen has gold trimmings against a black barrel and it has a 14kt gold nib. This particular Pilot Vintage Capless Fountain Pen fills with either cartridge or standard filling.
