Cleto Munari Toni Morrison Fountain Pen presents this black acrylic resin fountain pen designed by Alessandro Mendini and dedicated to honor Nobel Literature Prize winner, Toni Morrison. 

Chloe Anthony Wofford "Toni" Morrison was an American novelist and editor. She was awarded the Nobel Prize in Literature in 1993. Her first novel, The Bluest Eye, was published in 1970. The critically acclaimed Song of Solomon brought her national attention and won the National Book Critics Circle Award

Alessandro Mendini designed this limited edition Cleto Munari Toni Morrison Fountain Pen dedicated to Toni Morrison, and the column clip was inspired by the shape of a column, symbolizing the robust and enduring nature of her literature and her significant stature as a Nobel Prize-winning author. 

The design is meant to be a direct visual homage to the shape and strength of architectural columns, which reflect the "pillar" of literature that Morrison represents. This pen was part of a series where Mendini dedicated designs to different Nobel literature laureates, with each pen design incorporating elements inspired by the respective author or their work. 

The fountain pen nib is graced by a gold plated 925 nib.
