[caption id="attachment_4441" align="alignnone" width="850"] Namiki Yukari Royal Fall Flowers in full view[/caption] Namiki Yukari Royal Fall Flowers is made by Kokokai's maki-e master, Michifumi Kawakuchi 倫史. Demonstrating his supreme skills, the autumn flowers were made in taka maki-e and raden to highlight the romance and nostagia of autumn. Togidashi maki-e enhances the high relief Japanese knotweeds and blue raden abalone shells to glimmer in the shadows of the knotweeds and hydrageas. The background of the Namiki Yukari Royal Fall Flowers fountain pen is also decorated with jim maki-e gold powder to give a strong contrast to the flowers. Compared to the standard Yukari Royal size pens, the clip is maki-e in black urushi with the ball ended pen clip highlighted in gold dust. Finally, each pen is then fitted with a size 20 18kt gold nib and presented in a paulounia wooden box.
