Expressing modernism but yet classical in styling is the theme of Namiki Yukari Nightline Moonlight Raden Fountain Pen.  In this special masterpiece made by Shinsai Sakamoto, one of the rare few female urushi artist of Namiki's Kokokai, the glitter yet poetic moods of Moonlight is expressed using Raden, abalone shells, are inlaid onto the fountain pen before it was sealed with high quality urushi lacquer.  The natural glimmer of the blue light reflected from the abalone shells which are arranged in specially designed patterns gives an enchanting feel and affinity to this beautiful pen. Each pen is fitted with an 18kt gold nib and a beautiful presentation box.

About Namiki

Namiki is the surname of Ryosuke Namiki, the founder of the Pilot, named Namiki Manufacturing Company until 1938 when it became Pilot Pen Co., Ltd.. The brand name Namiki came to fame in the early 20th Century when Dunhill retailed in the west the Maki-e pens produced by Pilot under the brand Dunhill-Namiki. This partnership has continued to the present day (occasionally Namiki makes a Limited Edition for Dunhill) although Namiki has always been owned by Pilot.
