Oriental Riddle Conical Ball Pen

  A conical ball pen made in solid gold as an interesting curios on the table top. The base of the conical ball pen reads four sentences of Chinese Riddle which provide hints to the four oracle characters enameled on the surface of the conical pencil.  Each oracle characters are decorated with red enamel against a solid gold surface. The meanings of the oracle characters implied a world full of joy and happiness. Only one unique piece is ever made.

Elephant & Coral was established in 1996 as a small Singapore Pen Shop in Holland Village, Singapore. The name “Elephant & Coral” is derived from a place in London, Elephant & Castle, where the founder spent some of his best years of education in England.

The success of “The Saints” collection is unprecedented, fuelling the inspiration for two further collections, namely “The Noto Nogoro” and “Seki-shun” in 2004 and 2005 respectively. In 2001, Elephant & Coral expanded its business into fine bespoke, engraved social and business stationeries. A new entity, Chelsey Papier, creates premium stationeries using Crane’s 100% Cotton Paper for special occasions like birthdays, anniversaries, holidays, weddings, childbirths and condolences.
