The Pilot 100th Anniversary Limited Edition Mount Fuji is an exquisite, emperor-size (No. 50) Maki-e fountain pen. The cap is adorned with a snow-capped Mt.Fuji, rendered in Rankaku (Egg Shell), while the barrel depicts a landscape dotted with pines, said to be a symbol of longevity. The pen has an imposing finish, as a result of the entire pen being decorated in exquisite Shishiai Togidashi Maki-e (Combined Raised-Burnished Maki-e), a technique which combines Taka Maki-e (Raised Maki-e) and Togidashi Maki-e (Burnished Maki-e) and requires outstanding technical skill. The lacquer finish presentation box features a lifebuoy corporate emblem plate. The Fuji is a limited edition of 100 pens worldwide. Japan's highest peak, Mount Fuji, is an enduring and revered symbol of Japanese culture.  It's majestic, picturesque beauty has captivated so many people both within Japan, and around the world.  Mt.
