2023 marks an important milestone for the 24 Hours of Le Mans, as the prestige endurance race celebrates its centenary year. Helping to frame the occasion is the Italian writing brand, Montegrappa. The luxury maker’s new 24 Heures du Mans 2023 gives racing cognoscenti and writing enthusiasts a touchstone to the legacy of one of motorsport’s most iconic events.

References to a century of racing at the 13.629 km Circuit des 24 Heures feature throughout the design,most notably on a lacquered pocket clip which borrows from the layout of the race’s legendary, 6km-long Mulsanne Straight. Further detailing references all-time race records and a parade of iconic race winners through the years;

Carbon fibre and multiaxial-machined aluminium minimise weight while maximising strength and resilience. Experience the élan of Italian precision engineering, built to go the distance.

Trackside optics and mechanical controls give a driver’s seat perspective of high-performance motorsport. Feel the power of 32-tooth ratcheted piston fill with chicken-head switching.

Custom bodywork offers touchstones to the Circuit des 24 Heures and a century of extremes. Spec components include passive buttons, dials and a custom-moulded, Mulsanne Straight clip.

Saluting a century of automotive excellence, 100 rollerballs and 100 piston fountain pens are obsessively detailed: made to showcase in a scale replica of the 24 Hours of Le Mans winner’s trophy.
